Reading: PSALM 119:1-8
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 119:1-8.
Meditation: we take time with God to consider these particular words on this Sunday morning.
“I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.”
And then we pray to Father God in response, humbly, honestly.
Lord Jesus, our leader and teacher,
thank you that you have provided us with guidance though your words.
We raise our hearts to you,
with praise we study your teachings,
as we strive to follow your perfect example.
In your name we pray, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Heavenly Father, Saviour Jesus and Holy Spirit,
protect us from our weaknesses
and deliver us from despair.
We look to you in our suffering,
and raise our voices in worship.
All praise is given to your name, amen.
Evening:
Read these verses again from PSALM 119:1-8.
Reflect and then pray to this God of ours as we step into a new week – together – with Him.
Lord God, as we look forward to a new week,
we reflect on this last one.
Where did we falter from your path?
Where did we act like you?
Help us to walk with you,
following your ways.
