Meditation: as we pause with God today, we consider these truths.
And then we take the time to respond in prayer with Him – asking, seeking, knocking.
Father God, Jireh, the provider,
help us this day to be worthy of your gifts.
You alone have the power to keep our hearts true
and our action holy and just.
We turn to You in trust for our care.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from 1 SAMUEL 21:1-9.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord Jesus, the challenges of each day sometimes overwhelm us
so we thank You for we have reached this evening.
Fed us Lord with the sustenance only the bread of life can give.
We open our hearts and minds to this nourishment for rejuvenation.
