Morning:
Reading: LUKE 2:1-7.
Meditation: consider this passage as this new day begins.
“and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son”
and then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord Jesus, King of kings,
You came to earth as a baby, born in squalour,
the most lowliest of births for the greatest of being.
we open our hearts to you,
that we will never claim to have no room for our Saviour.
In your name, amen.
Midday:
Be still and know the peace of God as you ask, seek and knock.
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from LUKE 2:1-7.
Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Heavenly father, we thank You for this Christmas time.
For the blessings that You give us.
We celebrate Jesus, His birth, life and sacrifice.
As we rest this evening, let us reflect of the light of His coming,
and share with this world the peace, hope and joy we now through Him.
