Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Holy Spirit
Baptism
Healing
What is your response to these words today?
And then we pray to this God in response.
Lord Jesus, I offer myself to You for Your work.
Help me be an example to other.
Please work miracles through me today.
Lord Jesus, in Your name, amen.
Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer.
Lord, fill our hearts with a thirst to share the message about Jesus,
Your Son, Our Messiah.
Fill us with the same passion of the early church,
to bring the message of salvation to the world.
Give us the strength to overcome any persecution we may encounter.
Hold us strong.

Reading: read these set words again from ACTS 19 verses 1-22.
Reflect… and then Pray in response to this God of ours
O LORD, our Saviour and friend,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you,
As we acknowledge Your power to drive away evil,
And we ask for Your protection.
We name others in need, in our church here and in all corners of our world.
In Your name, Amen.
