Morning:
Reading: 1 SAMUEL 20:35-42.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we take time to consider these particular words today.
“Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord”
And then pray in response.
Lord, the greatest of our friends,
we thank You for Your support and provision.
For all those You have put in our lives,
we ask for blessings on them
and for the maintenance of true friendship in You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the SEECOS Session.
Bring unity, wisdom and love to those in our leadership, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 1 SAMUEL 20:35-42.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Jesus, our Lord and confidante,
we turn to You at the beginning of new week
and ask for your guidance and support.
As we face trial and troubles this week,
provide the help we need for safety and care.
Through the fellowship of the Spirit,
we have sworn friendship with our holy family.
Let us always act to help those in need.
