Morning:
Reading: PSALM 81.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we take the time to consider these particular words today.
“Hear me, my people, and I will warn you — if you would only listen to me”
And then pray in response.
Our God, speak to us this morning.
We are listening intently for your voice.
You do not leave us without direction.
You have given us the commands to live by,
the guidance to keep us close to you.
For being close to you protects us in this world.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on believers in Malaysia.
Bring safety and freedom, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 81.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Christ Jesus, our rock and cornerstone,
we build our lives on you.
We take time this evening to reflect on this day.
We are sorry if we blocked out your voice,
ignoring your guidance and faltering.
We still ourselves to realign to your path.
In yours name we pray, amen.
