Morning:
Reading: PSALM 84.
Meditation: consider this passage as this new day begins.
“Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.”
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord God, you give us the steadiest path to follow.
But often we can ignore your calling.
We recommit to you this morning,
inviting your power to strengthen our hearts,
for us to follow on a journey to a deeper relationship with you.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on believers in Nigeria.
Bring safety and freedom, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 84.
Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, the friend of my heart.
We turn to you this evening,
walking into your presence,
basking in your reverence.
For your dwelling place cannot be matched,
its beauty never rivalled.
We enter your courts this evening,
knowing that nothing on this Earth will every compare.
For this, we praise you, amen.
