Morning:
Reading: PSALM 83.
Meditation: pause with God as the day starts. Prayerfully consider these words written here.
“Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord — that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”
And then turn to pray to Him.
Lord on high, the only true justice.
We ask this day to look
on those who challenge us in love and compassion,
leaving judgement up to you.
We are not worthy to determine the guilt of others.
Only you know the secrets of their hearts.
Let all know your name and authority.
Let all praise your name as the Most High!
In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on believers in Sri Lanka.
Bring safety and freedom, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 83.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Christ Jesus, our deliverer.
You transformed us from your enemy,
into your friend.
We were once at odds with you,
but you refined us by the power of the Spirit.
And now that we know you,
we shall proclaim your glory.
In your name we pray, amen.
