Meditation: as we pause with God, take time to consider these particular words today.
- Revenge
- Forgiveness
And then pray in response.
Holy Father, merciful Lord,
Your forgiveness is all we need.
For those we have wronged,
please diffuse any thoughts of revenge,
turning those thoughts to forgiveness.
In Jesus name we pray, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the Church in Scotland.
Bring revival to your church in this country, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL 13:23-33.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord Jesus, your forgiveness is the greatest gift,
As we enter in your presence,
show us to turn our anger into forgiveness.
Turn us into an example of your grace in this world.
In your name, amen.
