Reading: PSALM 89:19-45
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 89:19-45.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we consider again these honest words this morning.
“You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Saviour.”
And then pray in response to this God.
Our Father, our God and our Saviour,
all glory belongs to you.
We proclaim you are our rock,
but do we live our lives relying solely on you.
We cannot comprehend your plans,
and often grow impatient with your timing,
for this we are sorry.
Please bless us with patience and wisdom,
as we recommit to you,
planting our feet firmly on your rock.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on those on our SEECOS Prayer Lists.
We are filled with thankfulness for the wonderful events that are happening this week
but also ask for deliverance from pain and sickness for those in need, amen.
Evening:
Read these words again from PSALM 89:19-45.
Take time to reflect and pray to this God.
Lord Jesus, the Word of the Father,
we see your open arms and walk to you this evening.
We pause in your presence
and open our ears.
We still our hearts, minds and souls,
holding steadfast to your Spirit.
We are listening,
please speak.
We are your servant, like David.
And like him, we are flawed.
But we also seek forgiven,
turning to you each day.
Help us to be more like you.
We rejoice to your glorious name, amen.
