Reading: Psalm 92
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 92.
Meditation: as we pause with God today, we consider these truths.
“proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,”
And then respond in prayer with Him.
Lord God, as the Psalmist writes,
we proclaim your love in the morning.
For you love the creation of your world.
You love your people.
You love us when we follow your ways,
when we sing in praise to you.
But you also love us when we chose our own path,
and turn away from you.
Help us, Lord, to keep our eyes on your throne,
letting your majesty hold us in your righteousness,
forever flourishing our deeds into good fruit,
In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from PSALM 92.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord God, you are the one who refreshes our souls.
It is only you that can make us truly whole.
Nothing on the Earth can satisfy us,
as the deeds of you, our Father, can.
We can easily let the busyness of life,
or the yearning for Earthly possessions and positions
undermine our relationship with you.
We take time this evening to recognise your faithfulness to us,
and open our hearts to renewal from your Spirit.
We praise you for the reliance that we have in you.
We raise our voices to you in worship.
All praise to your name, amen.
