Morning:
Reading: PSALM 93.
Meditation: pause with God this new morning. Prayerfully consider these words written here.
“the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength”
And then turn to God in prayer.
Lord God, we worship your mighty throne this morning.
For you reign!
Our rock!
Our Saviour!
We often forget how mighty you are,
the words here remind us.
You are armed with strength
and rule mightier than the loudest thunder
or the greatest waves of the seas.
You stand firm.
And we will stand this day beside you.
Glory to your name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the situation in Ukraine.
Bring a safe resolution to the troubles in Ukraine, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 93.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord God, the cornerstone,
your statutes stand firm
for your commandments are just.
We invite your Spirit in to speak to us,
bringing conviction to our hearts we do not follow your ways.
Help reset our behaviour to be as you wish,
that we may share in the glory of your house.
