Morning:
Reading: PSALM 96.
Meditation: as we pause with Jesus today, we take time to consider these verses.
“Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day”
And then pray to Him.
Heavenly Father, we still ourselves this morning,
entering your presence in worship.
We do as the Psalmist says:
we sing to you, Lord.
We praise your name,
proclaiming your salvation.
Let us do this day after day,
and all through each day.
For you deserve glory.
All praise to your glorious name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 96.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Lord Jesus, let all rejoice this day.
For you deserve all praise.
This evening, we bring to you all those on Earth,
who do not yet know you yet.
Let their eyes be opened to your majesty,
so that all creation will rejoice,
knowing the peace and salvation of your cross.
In your name, we pray, amen.
