Morning:
Reading: PSALM 99.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we consider these words and events.
“Let them praise your great and awesome name— he is holy.”
And then respond in prayer with Him.
Holy Father, reigning supreme in splendour.
As we glorify your name this morning,
we say words of thanks.
Thank you for the love that bestow on us.
The love that allows us to come to you,
to talk to you,
and to listen.
We rejoice to you,
because we are loved by you, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from PSALM 99.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Wonderful Lord, everlasting King,
we speak to you and you listen.
Help us to listen when you reply.
We are sorry that we sometimes close our ears,
ignoring your divine communication,
in our preference for selfish, worldly desires.
Show us our misdeeds, highlighting the downfall,
and let your forgiveness be our pathway to humility and faithfulness to you.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
