This year Remembrance Sunday falls on the centenary of the armistice at the end of the First World War. Liberton Kirk is marking this in several different ways, including a display of over 14,000 poppies made by people young and old, far and near. Details can be found on our website – just click on the poppy!
Through July and August, with the exception of Saturday 4th August, Liberton Kirk will be open on Saturdays from 10am to 12noon. Explore this historic church, now home to a lively Christian community. Cafe open in the church halls 9am to 12.30pm. Details at “Summer Events” on the website.
Spend a half-hour in the peaceful surroundings of Liberton Kirk’s churchyard, a chance to think and draw closer to God. The Peace Pathway is open from 8am to 8pm throughout July and August. For details look at “Summer Events” on the website or at the posters on the noticeboards.
