#Offer

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture, today’s prayer theme is #Offer

We bring our prayers today – offering to God our words and actions, our plans and hopes, our time and monies, our gifts and talents, our Monday.

As we pray….. may Father God hear our prayers and bring His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

#Sorry

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture, today’s prayer theme is #Sorry

We bring our prayers of confession to Father God- for things done or nor done, for words said or not said, for thoughts and intentions.

Take the opportunity to say sorry to someone recently wronged.

And…receive God’s forgiveness.

As we pray….. may Father God hear our prayers and bring healing.

#Thanks

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture, today’s prayer theme is #Thanks

We are invited to give thanks to our Father God.   Psalm 100 is a helpful part of the Bible to do so!

Give thanks for His love and amazing grace – even to you! Give thanks for His world.  Give thanks for His Church.  Give thanks for something particular He gave you recently.

Give thanks for Jesus.

As we pray….. may Father God receive our offering of thanksgiving.

#Praise

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture, today’s prayer theme is #Praise

We are called to give praise to the King of Heaven who reigns over all.   Psalm 99 is a helpful part of the Bible to do so!

As we pray….. may the eternal God receive our sacrifice of Praise.

#ToJesus

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture, today’s prayer theme is #ToJesus.

We are encouraged to pray for 5 people we know to come to Jesus, to meet Him person-to- person and to begin a personal relationship with Him.

As we pray for them….. may God in His grace come to them.

Heart and Soul – this Sunday!

As the annual Assembly of the Church of Scotland starts this weekend in Edinburgh, so the Heart & Soul event in Princes Street Gardens will take place (1-6pm, with closing worship etc at 5pm).

There will be a fair numbers of tents – of all sizes – along the West and East Avenues – from churches and organisations and other groups.  It is more than interesting to make a visit!!

Once again Liberton Kirk will be there – this year in partnership with SEECAT, providing 4 prayer stations around the themes of a Cross of Thanksgiving, Justice & Peace, Prayer Tree and Work Place Chaplaincy. There will be information to help you pray with a clearer focus.
There will be opportunities to pray with others and be prayed with.

It would be good to see you – from 12 noon onwards – on the East Avenue, closer to the Mound!
