Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : MATTHEW 6 verses 5-15
Meditation : take time and consider these words from Jesus about prayer.
What is He teaching you today?
How would you describe your prayer life at this time?

Then pray in response to Father God.
humbly
honestly

O LORD God, Father God, hear our prayers this morning we call out.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on David Hill and the work of trypraying
Lord, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Matthew 6
Reflect on how they apply to your life….and then Pray in response to God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers at the end of this day.

Reading : 1 JOHN 3 verse 11 – chapter 4 verse 21

Meditation : take time and consider these words this Sunday morning.
What do they say to you today?
What is your response to God’s Word?

and then pray in response – using verses 7-12 of chapter 4

O God of perfect Love
Thank you
As we call on You
To hear us
To help us
To change us
To use us
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on someone you talked with this week
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and bless this person we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from 1 John.
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God of Love.
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we cry out to you in praise and trust
As we thank you for the blessings of this day
As we pilgrimage on towards tomorrow
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
