Reading: PSALM 66
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 66.
Meditation: we take time with God to consider these particular words on this Sunday morning.
“Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling.” (NLT)
And then we pray to Father God in response, humbly, honestly.
Father God, you are steadfast in strength.
You keep our feet from stumbling,
but for that we have to give our lives to you.
Therefore, we time this morning,
to rededicate our lives to you.
We give you the sovereignty in our hearts.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
God in heaven, we exalt You!
You are the shelter we seek each day.
You are the only one who hears our cries from the darkness.
We invite You into our lives and we are filled with joy through Your Light.
With You by our side, the trials of this world, will not hold us down.
In You we put our hope and trust, amen.
Evening:
Read these verses again from PSALM 66,
Reflect. And then pray to this God of ours as we step into a new week – together – with Him.
Christ Jesus, we come to you,
we lift our hearts in praise to you.
Help us to cherish the actions only from you,
and turn from the temptations in our hearts.
We speak to you this evening,
in the knowledge that you will never reject our prayers,
or withhold your love from us.
All praise to you, amen.
