Reading: PSALM 68
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 68.
Meditation: as we pause with God we consider these words from David.
“God sets the lonely in families”
And then respond in prayer with Him.
Lord God, the good shepherd,
we enter your presence this morning,
dispelling any thoughts of loneliness from our souls.
We can often encounter despair from and in the broken world,
but with you beside us, we need never be lonely again.
You have chosen us to be in your flocks
and you will never leave us to perish.
For this, we thank and praise you.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from PSALM 68.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord Jesus, we worship you this evening,
We sing to our awesome King,
the God whose power and majesty shines down on his people.
You are our God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
who gives power and strength to us, your people.
In Your name, amen.
