Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Pray in response to what you have read

Thank you Father God for your help and forgiveness.
Hear our morning prayers we ask
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who work in our judicial system
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all good we ask – even today.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from ROMANS 14 verses 10-12
Reflect on the words here and then Pray in response

Thank you Father God for your help and forgiveness and mercy.
Hear our evening prayers we ask
As we name others before you
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Sunday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 14 verses 5-9– as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Sunday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Thy Kingdom Come – at Midday – with the Cheeky Pandas!

As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture earlier this year – Thy Kingdom Come.

This prayer continues around the world!

Each Sunday at Midday we have been re-visiting one of the 11 daily themes….and this time we again revisit one of the videos that was released for younger viewers….. Series 2 with the Cheeky Pandas – The After Show Party – Bear Grylls – a story with the theme of PRAYER.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : ROMANS 14 verses 5-9

Meditation : take time to consider these words on this Sunday.
Regarding others.
Christ died.
What words or images stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you this morning?

And then pray in response,
Naming others known to you facing hard times

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS 14 verses 5-9
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response at the end of your day

O LORD, our Great Help,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
As we name others in need
As we pray for the Church in all corners of our world
To sing and speak of Jesus.
In His saving name, Amen.
