Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 65 verses 17-25

Meditation : take the time to consider these words and events this Saturday morning.
New heaven
New earth

Which words stay with you as your day starts?
What do these words mean for you today – tomorrow?

And then take time to Pray with hope in response to this God
Praying your own words

Amen we pray with hope together this new day!

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from ISAIAH chapter 65 verses 17-25
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray with Praise in response to what you have read
This is our God! The God who gives hope for the future

Sing hymns of praise to the LORD;
play music on the harp to our God.
He spreads clouds over the sky;
he provides rain for the earth
and makes grass grow on the hills.
He gives animals their food
and feeds the young ravens when they call.
His pleasure is not in strong horses,
nor his delight in brave soldiers;
but he takes pleasure in those who honour him,
in those who trust in his constant love

In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen

Daily Devotions for Friday 22nd December, 2023

Salvation

What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?
