Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ROMANS 5 verses 1-11

Meditation : take time and consider these great words of truth this morning.
Right with God.
What are you encouraged and challenged by from this passage?
Which words stay with you?

Then pause to praise and pray to this loving and just God

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our God
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on the work of trypraying in 2022
God of grace…hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on this work

Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS 5 verses 1-11
Reflect on the truths behind the words – at the end of your day
and Pray with praise in response to this God – our God

People will speak of your mighty deeds,
and I will proclaim your greatness.
They will tell about all your goodness
and sing about your kindness.
The LORD is loving and merciful,
slow to become angry and full of constant love.
He is good to everyone
and has compassion on all he made.

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into the weekend – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 2 verses 17-29

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular Friday…as the nation and the world wrestles with the new variant and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern are before us in our nation and our world … you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For those seeking employment in our local community

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time
