Daily Devotions for Friday 1st December, 2023

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 6
Meditation : take time to consider these eventful verses this morning
God calls Isaiah
Holy, holy, holy!

What words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you today?
Is there something He is calling you to do?

Then take time to Pray in response to this God

LORD our God
We believe in You
Help our unbelief and understanding

Call us
Send us
Use us
Even today

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those on our church Prayer List
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give grace we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ISAIAH chapter 6
Reflect on the way God called Isaiah to serve Him
and pray in response to this Holy God

LORD God Almighty
Holy, holy, holy One
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day
As we bring ourselves and our world to you at the end of this day.
Amen.

Daily Devotions for Tuesday 1st June, 2021

Upper Room day – time out with God

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 6

Meditation : consider all that is said here about God, the Holy One…
What words stay with you? What is God saying to you from His Word?

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to wait before this God, our God

Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, Holy, Holy,
Merciful and mighty,
God in three Persons,
Blessed Trinity!

Midday

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
…..and respond to His voice….
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from ISAIAH 6
Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes

Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord God Almighty!
Late in the evening
Our song shall still rise to Thee;
Holy, Holy, Holy,
Merciful and mighty,
God in three Persons,
Blessed Trinity!
