Meditation : take time and consider this part of the Bible this morning.
A Hymn of Thanksgiving!
What does it mean for you today?
Is there a song to the LORD on your lips?
Is there a song to the LORD missing in your life at this time?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words of thanksgiving to the LORD God.

Pray God’s blessing on the Bible Society in the East Carribean
Father God…hear our prayers and bless this work we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from PSALM 136
Reflect on the verses and images at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your hymn of thanksgiving

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

On this Wednesday in August…as the nation continues to journey forward with new guidelines and the world wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies.. you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world

For family and friends and neighbours

For all those struggling with the ‘new normal’ in our community

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
