Meditation : take time and consider this part of the Bible this morning.
A Human nature. Sinful desires.
Living in the way of the Spirit.
What do these words mean for you today?
What encourages and challenges you?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words of confession and of faith to the LORD God.

Pray God’s blessing on God’s people in Somalia.
Father God…hear our prayers and bless your Church we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this short passage again from ROMANS 7
Reflect on the words behind the truths at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God as your day ends

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us!

As we receive from you forgiveness and cleansing
As we name others before you

Lord Jesus, Son of God, Giver of rest,
Hear our evening prayers,
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
As we now rest in You this evening
