Daily Devotions for Tuesday 2nd August, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 37 verses 1-20

Meditation : consider this passage … at the start of your day.
The king asks Isaiah’s advice.
Who are you helping at this time?

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Naming those in need known to you
Asking God for His advice and help

In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
…..and respond to His voice….
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from ISAIAH chapter 37 verses 1-20
Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes
Naming others in need known to you

LORD God, our great God,
Thank you for being there with me
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
As I name others before you
As I look around at this world
In these days.
Give help O Lord!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
