Tuesday Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this CHRISTmas week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from LUKE 2 verses 8-20 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Tuesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Somalia and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for this week

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : LUKE 2 verses 1-7
Meditation : take time and consider this passage this Sunday morning.
The Birth of Jesus
Laid in a manger

Then Pray with your own words in response to this event

In Jesus’ name, Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those eating Christmas meal alone
O God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from LUKE 2 verses 1-7
Reflect on what you read and then pause to pray to our God in response

Praise the LORD!

The LORD takes pleasure in his people;
he honours the humble with victory.
Let God’s people rejoice in their triumph
and sing joyfully all night long.

And so to you, O God, we bring our evening words of prayer
On this special Saviour’s Day
In Jesus’ name, Amen!

CHRISTmas Eve Prayer with Others

As we step into CHRISTmas Day….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH chapter 66 verses 1-16 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

Thy Kingdom Come – CHRISTmas 2023

As we move onward from Thy Kingdom Come 2023….and step into CHRISTmas Day 2023……so we keep praying!!

Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit the daily themes – including the Cheeky Pandas and Youth Videos for the younger members of our Church Family!
