Hogmanay Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new year….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from REVELATION 22 verses 6-21– as we journey forward together….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Tuesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Syria, Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : REVELATION 22 verses 6-21
Meditation : consider this short passage as your day starts.
Jesus says….I am coming soon.
The Spirit and the Bride say…..

What is God teaching/reminding you today?
Are you longing for Jesus to return?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Trusting in Him as you step into this new day and a new year

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again from REVELATION 22 verses 6-21
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

O God of hope and new things,
Hear our evening prayers,
For our city and our nation.
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on this year
As we trust you for tomorrow
And all that is ahead next year
And in the new heaven and new earth!
In Jesus’ name
Amen and Amen.

O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them each and all we ask – even today.

Reflect on all that happens here and then Pray in response to this God

LORD God, Holy, Holy, Holy we call out.
Hear our Monday evening prayers we ask
As we look forward and upward with much hope and longing
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.
