Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ISAIAH 52 v.13 – chapter 53 v 12
Meditation : take time to consider these words of prophecy as your day starts.
The suffering Servant

What words stay with you today?

Then Pause to Pray in response to this God we believe and trust in

Pray your own words at the start of this day
Naming others on a journey of suffering at this time

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those on you Pray for 5 list
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ISAIAH 52 v.13 – chapter 53 v 12
– in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on what you read and then pray to our God in response

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Hear my evening prayer
As I lay myself and my church family before you at the end of this day
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sunday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH 42 verses 1-9 – as we journey in this season of Advent….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Sunday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
