Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from HOSEA chapter 6 – ch.7 verse 2 – as we continue to pause in the Old Testament….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Wednesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Meditation : prayerfully consider these words this new morning
The people say….
But the LORD says….

What words stays with you?

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Pray with honesty
Pray with humility

In Jesus’ name
Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on believers in Sudan
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless your people there real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from HOSEA ch.6 verse 1 – chapter 7 verse 2
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response to this God

LORD God, merciful God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
Our daily bread and living water.
As we thank you for your Church worldwide
Telling others about Jesus, Christ and Saviour for this world.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

O God of saving grace and mercy,
Hear our evening prayers,
For our city and our nation and our world.
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
