Coronavirus Update 17 March

CORONOVIRUS UPDATE – Tuesday 17 March

Following recent government guidance, please note the following-

Our Sunday worship services in the Kirk (and Sunday Clubs/Buzz in the halls) will continue- with some changes to minimize the risk of spreading infection.

All childrens’ groups and uniformed organisations (except Sunday Clubs/Buzz) who normally meet in our buildings have been cancelled until further notice.

Kirkgate Cafe will remain open for the foreseeable future but from Wednesday 18th March, with a reduced menu and opening hours – Monday to Thursday 11am to 1pm.
There will be no evening cafe until further notice.

The Wilson Hall will be open every weekday from 8am to 5pm for the ‘Upper Room’ for prayer and reflection.

Sunday evening worship

Did you know we host a service on a Sunday evening for worship, teaching and good conversations?
Well if you didn’t, have a look at what’s happening in the next few months by clicking here or even better why not come and join us.
We meet at 6:30pm in the Kirkgate cafe for a cuppa and the service starts at 7pm in the Anderson Hall. You are welcome to come for either or both.

17th, 24th and 31st :  Summer School of Mission at 6.30pm at Liberton Northfield

28th : No Evening Worship

September

4th :  6.30pm in the Kirkgate Cafe

Encountering God at six30

The start of the year the whole church is looking at being Upward looking and how we encounter God, we’re doing the same thing at six30 evening services on Sundays. We have a great mix of speakers lined up and starting us off in February is Nikki who is leading an evening in the church inspired by the book Be Live Pray by Becca Dean, where we actively look at what prayer is, how we do it and what we can pray about. Check out speakers for the next few months by keeping up to date on our six30 page but also come along on Sunday night if you would like to look more into how to pray day by day.
