Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : LUKE 7 verses 1-17
Meditation : consider this short passage as your day starts.
Faith.
A Centurion asks.
What do these words mean for you in your life at this time?
Is there something you need to ask for in faith?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Asking in faith as you step into this day

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again from LUKE 7 verses 1-17
Reflect on the words and events…. And then pray to this God in response

Lord Jesus, Son of God, Light of the World,
Hear our evening prayers,
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
As we now rest in You this evening
Amen and Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on the Church Family at Ferniehill
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all good we ask – even today.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from LUKE 6 verses 12-19
Reflect on the words here and then Pray in response

Thank you Father God for your grace and help and healing this day
Hear our evening prayers we ask
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Sunday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from LUKE chapter 5 verses 17-26 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Sunday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Sudan, Yemen, Ukraine and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
