Pause to Pray for Others

On this Holy Week Monday…as the nation and the world wrestles with the crisis in Ukraine – a major concern before us at this time… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our church family, in our nation and in our world, where many are still waiting for vaccine supplies – and for all those in need on our Church Prayer List at this time – and for the various parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For national leaders across the world at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For those who are feeling anxious about others at this time

Daily Devotions for Monday 11th April, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Reading : ROMANS 5 verses 3 and 4

Meditation : take time to consider this part of the chapter this morning.
Rejoicing in Suffering.
Take time to recognize the truths behind the words.
What is God teaching/reminding you today from His written Word?

Pray in response to what you have read

Thank you Father God for your help and strength
In my life
In the life of others
Hear our morning prayers we ask
For those struggling
With suffering
With the absence of hope
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on John and Lindsay and their family
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them good we ask – even today.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from ROMANS 5 vs 3+4
Reflect on the words here and then Pray in response

Thank you Father God for your help and strength
Hear our evening prayers we ask
Especially for those struggling with suffering
In our family
In our Church Family
In our world
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.
