Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ISAIAH 52 verse 13 – chapter 53 verse 12
Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
The Suffering Servant
A place of Honour

And then take time to Pray in response to this God
Praying for those struggling to believe in this Jesus
Praying for families and communities suffering because of this Jesus

Thank you God for sending Jesus
Thank you Jesus that you came
Holy Spirit may you ever make us more like this Jesus
Amen and Amen

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Reflect on the truths behind the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read
For yourself and for others who follow this Servant King

Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me
and guide me in the everlasting way

O make me more and more like this Jesus I pray

Come to God with a confidence – because of Jesus
Naming others known to you who serve in sharing this Good News
