Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : PROVERBS 22 verses 4 and 5
Meditation : prayerfully consider these words this Thursday morning
Be wise
Money

What is God teaching/reminding you?
What words stay with you?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words of faith and trust to the LORD our God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on believers in Africa
Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from PROVERBS 22 verses 4 and 5
Reflect on the verses at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your words of faith and trust

Lord
I believe
Help my unbelief
Give saving grace to this struggling with monies and resources
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thursday Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from PROVERBS chapter 20 verse 9 – as we continue to pause in Proverbs and Psalms this Summer time….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Thursday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Then pause to pray to Father God

Honestly

Pray God’s blessing on believers in Spain and Portugal
God of grace…hear our prayers and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PROVERBS 20 verse 9
Reflect on these words – at the end of your day
and Pray with honest words in response to this God – our Father God

People will speak of your mighty deeds,
and I will proclaim your greatness.
They will tell about all your goodness
and sing about your kindness.
The LORD is loving and merciful,
slow to become angry and full of constant love.
He is good to everyone
and has compassion on all he made.

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we ask, seek and knock on heaven’s door
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflect on the words and images at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God – with your words of request and trust

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us
For our trust and hope is in you
As we step into a new day.
