Daily Devotions for Saturday 16th October, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 149

Meditation : take time to consider these verses of rejoicing this morning.
What words are in your song of praise today?

And then Pray in response to this God we believe and trust in

LORD
I bow in worship before you
I look up to you,
Up to heaven, where you rule.

Hear my morning prayer
Hear the morning prayers of your people

In Jesus’ name.
Amen

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
