Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JOHN 15 verses 9-17
Friends of Jesus.
Joy.

What are you encouraged and challenged by from God’s written Word?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in response to this Jesus

O Lord, Joy-Giver
We believe
Help our unbelief
Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own Midday Prayer

Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life……If you knew me
you would know the Father as well.”
We pray: – Lord abide in us as the Father does in you.
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from JOHN 15 verses 9-17
Reflect on the truths behind the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read

As I thank you Lord
For the joyful blessings of today

Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me
and guide me in the everlasting way

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meditation : take time and consider this part of the chapter this particular morning.
Jesus promises the Holy Spirit.

What words stay with you?
Who is the Holy Spirit to you in your life?

Then Pray with your own words in response to this Jesus

Pray God’s blessing on John and Lindsay and their family
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 14 verses 15-21
Reflect on what you read and then Pray to this Jesus

The LORD takes pleasure in his people;
he honours the humble with victory.
Let God’s people rejoice in their triumph
and sing joyfully all night long.

And so to you, O God, we bring our evening words of prayer
As we step into tomorrow with the Holy Spirit

Pray humbly….honestly…..boldly

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Reflect on the words from Jesus and then Pray in response to Him

O Lord, hear our evening prayers we ask
