Reading : PROVERBS 15 verse 13

Meditation : prayerfully consider these words this morning

What words stays with you?
What is God asking of you today?

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Pray with honesty
Pray with humility

In Jesus’ name

Pray God’s blessing on believers in France
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless Your people real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from PROVERBS 15 verse 13
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response

LORD God, merciful God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
Our daily bread and living water.
As we thank you for your Church worldwide
Telling others about Jesus, the Way, the Truth, the Life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from PROVERBS chapter 12 verse 22 – as we continue to pause in Proverbs and Psalms this Summer time….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Wednesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting all that will happen tomorrow across the country…..as well as the people of Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow and all that will bring

O LORD our God
Thank you for these words
And all they teach us
Receive my sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving
And confession
And help me keep my words truthful this day
My Teacher
My Saviour
My Messiah
Amen

Pray God’s blessing on believers in the USA
O LORD, give help and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from PROVERBS 12 verse 22
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
Creator and Saviour God
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from ourselves
And from this world
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
