Reading: PSALM 69
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 69.
Meditation: pause with God this new day. Consider these words written here.
“I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.”
And then turn to pray to God.
Lord God, forever there with open arms;
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our woes in this world,
that we call out only with our voices and not our hearts.
Help us, Lord, to wholly rely on you in our difficult times.
Let our weeping me honest,
and our remorse be transformative.
In those times when we feel you near,
felt us guide others through their grief,
to rest in your kindness and protection.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on believers in Iran.
Bring safety and freedom, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 69.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord Jesus, the great protector,
we ask for your salvation to deliver us from our pain.
For this we praise your name,
and raise our thanksgiving towards heaven.
In your name, amen.
