Reading: PSALM 94
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 94.
Meditation: consider this passage this new morning.
“The Lord knows all human plans;”
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Heavenly Father, omniscient and omni-percipient,
nothing is hidden from you.
From the deepest desires of our hearts
to the most fleeting thought in our minds
are known and seen by you.
Help us find comfort in this.
In the knowledge that we are never alone,
that we can come to you as we are,
because you already know how we think and feel.
And you still want us to come to you and share those things.
You truly are the most loving Father.
To you we sing our praise, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the situation in Iran.
Bring peaceful resolution and an end to violence, amen.
Evening:
Read the set verses again from PSALM 94.
reflect on what is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, the King of mercy,
you are the timeless example of grace.
Who among us is worthy to pass judgement on any other?
None.
You know who the wicked are,
for are the only one without blame.
It is not for us to condemn or judge.
We do not have the authority to destroy another.
Help us to act in humility and love,
with compassion for our fellow man.
Show us the path to grace,
so we can follow your steps.
In your name we pray, amen.
