Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : EXODUS chapter 13 verses 17-22

Meditation : take time to consider these few verses this morning.
Imagine the scenes and the people described here.
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
What is your response to God’s Word today?

Take the time to Pray in response

O God of power and grace,
As I read these words
Help me believe
And trust in You
In good times and in hard times.
May Your Holy Spirit work in and through me.
As You were doing through Moses
As You are doing across the world.
Oh surprise us in these days we call out!
In Jesus’ name.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those struggling with family matters at this time
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read these few verses again from Exodus 13
Reflect on the way God has led you in your life
and pray in response to Him – with thanksgiving
and for others in need at this time as well as yourself
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.
Amen.

Reading : EXODUS chapter 12 verses 29-42

Meditation : take time and consider what is said here – as your day starts.
How would you describe Israel’s relationship with the LORD God?
How would you describe your relationship with Him today?

then pray in response as your day starts

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And for others known to you at this time in a hard place.)

O LORD of amazing grace, receive our morning praise and hear our prayers.
We ask in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the leaders and government of India
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on each and all

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Exodus 12
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours, the God of Passover
O LORD God, hear our evening prayers as we thank You for Your call on our lives.
Oh pour out your saving grace on others we ask
Even this evening!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meditation : consider all that happens here as your day starts.
How would you describe God’s relationship with His people?

then pray to God in response….looking again at verses 24-28

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
May we be a people
Who ever remember
Your sacrifice in Christ
For us
For the world
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Pray God’s blessing on the Church in India
O LORD, show mercy and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our Saviour God
LORD God, our God, hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
