Pray not to be stubborn with God
LORD God,
Thank you that You are involved in my life.
Show me Your ways even this day.
Forgive my stubborn self
And make me flexible to Your touch
Willing and ever ready to Your voice.
In Jesus’ name I ask.
Amen.

And have mercy we ask
Forgive our broken promises to You
And help us, oh help us to be true and faithful to You – every day.

– even today at home, work, school, rest, play or at the Café?

Meditation :   consider that ‘the LORD is the true God’
Pray in response for God’s name to be glorified above all others
Oh LORD God Almighty
I lift Your name up high
And higher still
Above all others
Above my life
Above my needs
Above this world
And I bow down in reverent fear and worship.

LORD of majesty and holiness
We praise You – for You alone are perfect in every way
So unlike us.
Yet showing mercy and amazing grace to us!
As we bow before You
Receive our worship
And may Your favour rest upon us – even today.
