Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : JOHN chapter 6 verses 1-15
Meditation : take time to consider all that happened here!
A feeding miracle!

What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, our God of miracles!
Praying for people suffering hunger in our world
Praying for those of us who have full cupboards
Praying for those working for justice

In Jesus’ Name
Amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on our Hospitality Team
O LORD God, have mercy on this team of servants and hear our prayers this day we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 6 verses 1-15
Reflect on the events and all involved…. And then pray to the LORD our God

Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves and all we have before You
And our needy world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Reading : JOHN chapter 5 verses 19-23 again
Meditation : take time and consider these words of Jesus again this morning.
The Father. The Son.

What words or images stay with you?
What is God saying to you afresh today?

Take time to pause and Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to pause and listen for God’s answer to you

I call to the LORD for help;
I plead with him.
I bring him all my complaints;
I tell him all my troubles.

We believe
Help our unbelief

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read JOHN 5 verses 19-23 – in another version?
Reflect on these words of Jesus…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
