Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 125

Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning.
A song of trust in the LORD.
What does it mean for you at this time?
What is God saying to you today about Himself from this psalm?

And then Pray in response to what you read – to this God of ours.
Sing your song of praise!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who work in your local supermarket
God of grace and mercy hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this Psalm again
Reflect on this God, your God, our God…. and then Praise Him in your evening Prayer
LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are!
For all you have done for us!
And as we give it all back to you
May you continue to reach and save people
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done across our world
In our community, in our city.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

TEARFUND Christmas Concert

Liberton Kirk is delighted to be hosting a concert on Friday 20th December at 7.30pm.
This has been arranged by the BIG IDEA group of churches and will feature the New Scottish Hymns Band for TEARFUND’s annual Christmas Concerts tour.

Come, all ye faithful, and join the celebration in an evening of festive cheer with beautiful acoustic carols and original songs.
