Daily Devotions for Friday 13th December, 2024

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : MICAH 5 verses 2-7
Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here
A ruler from Bethlehem

What images or words stay with you?
What words encourage and challenge you today?

And then Pray with honest words to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we ask, Holy Spirit,
Have mercy on those we name before you
Give hope and blessing we ask
Amen – we pray together.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this short passage again from MICAH 5 verses 2-7
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to this great God

Honestly
Humbly

In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen
