Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ROMANS 8 verse 19-22

Meditation : take time and consider this part of the chapter this morning.
All of Creation waits.
All of Creation groans.

What does this mean for you in your part of the world?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words for our world to the LORD our God.
To Creator God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Leprosy Mission at work in Chad.
Father God…hear our prayers and bless this work we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ROMANS 8 verse 19-22
Reflect on the verses and images at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your prayer for our world

O LORD, Creator God,
hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us!
As we pray for our hurting world
For all those groaning and hurting
As we trust and hope in you
For a new Heaven and a new Earth!

As we thank you for all you have provided this day
As we thank you for your suffering Church worldwide
As we name others in a place of suffering at this time
