Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular Wednesday…as the nation and the world wrestles with the new variant and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : JOHN 3 verses 1-15

Meditation : take time to consider what Jesus is saying here.
What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?
Which words stay with you?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, our Saviour God

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the trypraying booklets available in locations across the city
O LORD God, have mercy on this work and hear our prayers this day we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 3
Reflect on Jesus’ words…. And then pray to this God we believe and trust in

Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves before You.
Give saving grace we ask to those we name before you

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read JOHN 2 verses 1-11 again as your day closes
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God

I call to the LORD for help;
