Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : JOHN 3 verses 22-36

Meditation :  take time and consider these words as your year ends.

What words stay with you? What is your response to God’s Word today?

and then pray in response – to God, the Eternal one, as this year ends and 2018 draws near

O LORD God,

Eternal
Loving
Giving
Receive our praise
And
Help us
Oh help us
To lift the name of Jesus
Higher than any other
Today and tomorrow
And forever!

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday

Pray for your church family to know God’s Kingdom blessings

O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and pour our blessings we ask.
In Jesus’ name,   Amen.

Evening

Reading : read these particular verses again from John 3

Reflect on the words and truths and then Pray in response as your day ends

O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask.
Receive our praise for all the blessings of 2017
And lead us, oh lead us, into and through 2018.
May we see Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven
In us. Through us.
In our world.

In Jesus’ name,   Amen and Amen.
