Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 30

Meditation : take time to consider this part of the Bible as your week ends.
What is God saying to you today from these verses?
What is your response?

And then take time to Pray in response to Him

O God of truth and amazing grace,
Receive my morning praise and prayer
And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me a person who lives out the truth
Following ever closer to Jesus
Even if it brings suffering to my path.

Amen we pray together this new day in Jesus’ name.

Pray God’s blessing on a church family known to you

Father God, our God in heaven, hear our prayers and send a blessing we ask.

Evening

Reading : read Psalm 30 again

Reflect on the truths beyond the words and then Pray in response as Saturday ends and Sunday approaches

LORD God, my God, hear my evening prayer at the end of this day.
In Jesus’ name,   Amen.

Meditation : take time and consider these verses again.
What has God been saying to you from these verses?
What is your response to His Word?

Pray to this God in response – as His Spirit leads you this morning 

Oh Living God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Hear my morning prayer

O LORD, receive our praise and hear our prayers.

Father God, hear our prayers we ask and bless them real good

Evening

Reading : read these 4 verses again

Reflect on this Jesus and His words at the end of your day and what God is saying to you

Then Pray in response to this God

O LORD, of then and now and judgment to come, hear our evening prayers.
In Jesus’ name,   Amen.

Reading : JOHN 3 verses 14- 17

Meditation : consider these particular verses slowly as your day starts.
What words stay with you?
Look again at verse 16 as you turn to God in prayer this morning.

then pray in response….for yourself and for others in our world

O LORD our God,
Father God of true love,
With thankful hearts
We thank you for these words
And all they say!
May my faith in Jesus
Reach someone else today.

O LORD, hear our prayers and show your love we call out

Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response to this God of perfect love

LORD God, Father God, our God, receive our evening prayers and praise.

Reading : JOHN 8 verses 9- 13

Meditation : consider these words and what Jesus said.
Ponder verse 12 again.  What is He saying to you today and what is your response to Him?

Take time to Pray in response this morning

Lord Jesus,
I believe
But help my unbelief….Even now as I read these words
And make me a person who wholly believes in you – even today.

In Your name I ask, Amen.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…..seek…..knock………..hear!

LORD and God, thank you.

Evening

Reading : read these few verses again from John 3

Reflect….on the words spoken and then Pray in response to this Jesus

O Jesus, who spoke with Nicodemus,
Hear my evening prayer and keep on speaking with me.
Amen and Amen.
