Saturday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into Sunday – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 8

We PAUSE with Him in prayer

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength in 2022 – for ourselves and for others

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Enable us
To share this Good News

In our street
In Liberton
In Scotland

Evening
Reading : read ROMANS chapter 8 again – in another version?
Reflect on this God, your God, our God…. and then Call on Him in your evening Prayer

LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are
For your help and strength even today
And as we give it all back to you
May you continue to reach and save people
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done across our world
In our community, in our city.
In Jesus’ name. Amen
.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into this weekend of a new year – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 7

We PAUSE with Him in prayer

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength in 2022 – for ourselves and for others

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular first Friday of the new year…as the nation and the world wrestles with the new variant and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For children and young people and families in our community

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time
